Thoughts on surving a rough week

Posted by Michael Fletcher on Thursday, May 28, 2009, In : Change

I am currently enduring one of those weeks. My energy levels are plumbing new and never before seen depths. My body is complaining as cramp descending on me periodically without warning. My mind keeps meandering down nasty self pitying paths. All in all it’s not the worst week ever, at least Manchester United lost and I haven’t pooped my pants, my 26 year poopie pants free streak is still holding.

So this week started off pretty badly ended up having my fortress of weekend solitude crash...

High leverage changes - Things you can start doing now

Posted by Michael Fletcher on Thursday, May 7, 2009, In : Change

In the last years I’ve managed to leverage considerable additional quality out of my life. The most important factor in doing this has been focusing on the little things and living actively. Spending some time last night to understand the direction I’d like to take with my writing I think the key areas I’d like to focus on are development. Development in every of the facets I choose to cover as well as implementation of the science of develepment and change.

So what topics will I be looking at in the ...

Looking down and looking up

Posted by Michael Fletcher on Sunday, May 3, 2009, In : Change

I subscribe to the RSS feed at The Simple Dollar, and constantly find myself humbled at how useful the information on this blog is. As a result i have chose a post from the simple dollar to launch my first new post on this blog. The simple reason for this is this blog has been one of the main reasons i've gotten the itch to try my hand at blogging.

The post Personal Finance Progress Internally and externally, is a good reminder of the need to have a quantitive base for changes we wish to make...
