Editorial: Busy busy, Social media, manipping, painting and writing - oh my!!

Ok as everyone can see i've been quite the busy bee this week.

I felt I needed a bit of a content break so I spent some time working on the design and layout of my sites.
I also have a new Digital Painting project underway I've asked the owner of the stock image for permission to display the image on my site and am still waiting. I have actually prepared a project page for this image but won't be publishing it publicly until i get permission.

Studio Update

I've made a number of changes to my painting in my Digital Painting Studio. Upon inspection now, I appear to have lost the plot though having lost detail on the back and killing the form and volume on the dress as well as really ill advised decision to remove the wood from the background which has really killed the composition completely. I'll therefore be rolling my painting back 2 hours and restarting at 4 hour

I have given up on painting in Paint Shop Pro for the time being and have switched to Painter X. Paint Shop Pro will remain my first choice for photomanipulation but I'll be painting exclusively in Painter X in the future. There is no comparison between the products Painter X is far superior to Paint Shop Pro for digital painting. I will however be looking into creating some Paint Shop Pro Brushes to make painting in Paint Shop Pro more dynamic.
